Most people on AutoAzar are genuine, but vehicle fraud does exist. A few simple habits keep you safe.
Warning signs
A price far below the market. A seller who will not let you view the car. Pressure to pay a deposit today. Requests to pay by bank transfer to a third party, gift cards or cryptocurrency. Emails claiming to be an AutoAzar escrow or buyer-protection service — we do not operate one.
Before you pay
View the car at the registered keeper's address. Check the V5C, MOT history and mileage against the advert. Run a vehicle history check for outstanding finance or write-off markers. Never send money for a car you have not seen.
Our role
AutoAzar provides the advertising platform. We do not inspect vehicles, verify ownership, hold funds or guarantee any transaction, and we are not a party to the sale.
