What we collect

Account details such as your name, email address, phone number and postcode; advert details including vehicle information and photographs; delivery details for merchandise orders; and technical data such as device type and pages visited.

Why we use it

To create and secure your account, publish your adverts, pass bids and offers between buyers and sellers, provide valuations, fulfil merchandise orders, prevent fraud, and improve the site.

Who we share it with

Sellers see the contact details you choose to send with an offer. Our print and delivery partner receives the shipping details needed to send merchandise. Service providers host the site and its database on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Account and advert data is kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and fraud-prevention reasons. Order records are kept as long as required for tax and consumer-law purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete your account, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent for marketing. Email hello@autoazar.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
